The Lifetime Achievement Award

Karyn was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award by The Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH) in 2005. The award is presented to an individual for his/her unique and special contributions to further the field of therapeutic humor through research and/or practice, and their significant contribution to AATH.

The Speaker Hall of Fame (Council of Peers Award for Excellence)

Less than 150 professional speakers are recipients of the National Speakers Association’s CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame Award, NSA’s highest award for speaking excellence. Karyn is one of only 30 women and her selection places her in an exclusive group of outstanding individuals. Other recipients include: President Reagan, Art Linkletter, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Og Mandino, and Zig Ziglar.

Certified Speaking Professional (CSP)
Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) is a designation established by the National Speakers Association to recognize those individuals who have demonstrated commitment to the speaking profession through proven speaking experience. CSP is awarded to individuals who complete a comprehensive application process and meet the criteria set by NSA. Less than 7% of the over 3500 members of NSA have earned the CSP designation.
