Living with an illness is never easy! Dealing with symptoms, doctors, medications and new diets can all be a challenge. This book addresses the serious issues, but leave it to Karyn Buxman, RN to bring some wonderful humor to the journey! I love to laugh and I love to deal with difficulties in life with twist of funny whenever possible! This is definitely a must read for all who live with Diabetes, those who know someone who does, doctors and nurses! Enjoy!

Love your site. I am a Hospice RN and you would believe the amount of humor we use daily. Your article here is spot on. One of our favorite things to use humor for is insomnia. When patients can’t sleep and medication hasn’t helped we ask them if they’d like us to get the frying pan. We often have patient’s suggest a rubber mallet. It works both ways.
